When does a conversion “clear”?

All four of these have to happen, in this order:

Referee pays the flat $299 setup.
Their site is live and serving traffic for 30 days.
Their first monthly hosting invoice is paid.
60-day clearance window passes with no refund or churn.

This protects us from being on the hook for refunded customers and keeps the program honest. Cleared conversions are yours. Chargebacks (rare, ~2% of cleared) get deducted from your next batch, capped at your current balance — we’ll never claw back more than that.

Your code

Every approved affiliate gets a code with the Glow- prefix. New affiliates start with a system-generated code like Glow-XYZ1236.

Once you’ve cleared 5 conversions, you can swap it for a custom code like Glow-JOHNDOE (subject to availability and not being someone else’s trademark). One code works on both brands — SiteGlowUp and Hands Free Sites — so you can promote whichever product fits the moment.

Questions, answered

How much do I earn?

$50 cash per cleared conversion. Cleared means the referee paid setup, their site has been live for 30 days, their first monthly hosting invoice has been paid, and the 60-day clearance window has passed with no refund or churn. After that, the money is yours.

Why $50 flat?

Because we know what a customer is worth to us, and we think you should get a real number — not 10% of some tiered commission curve that nobody can predict. Every customer pays the same flat $299 setup, and you earn the same flat $50 every time. It’s a clean handshake.

How do I get paid?

Stripe Connect Express. You’ll onboard once (it takes about 5 minutes — name, address, bank/debit card, tax info). After that, every cleared $50 lands in your Stripe account, and we run a payout batch on the 1st of each month. Minimum $25 — smaller balances roll forward to the next batch.

What about taxes?

Stripe Tax handles 1099-NEC issuance for any U.S. affiliate earning more than $600 in a calendar year. International affiliates handle their own tax obligations per their country. We don’t withhold anything — you receive gross, you settle with your government.

When does my code clear?

60 days after the referee’s site goes live, assuming they’ve paid setup, stayed live for at least 30 days, and paid their first monthly hosting invoice. If they refund or churn inside that window, the conversion doesn’t clear and you don’t earn for it. This protects us from being on the hook for refunded customers and protects you from race-to-the-bottom affiliates spamming weak leads.

Can I customize my code?

Yes — after 5 cleared conversions. New affiliates get a system-generated code like Glow-XYZ1236. Once you’ve cleared 5 customers, you can swap it for Glow-YOURNAME (subject to availability and not being someone else’s trademark).

Can I promote both SiteGlowUp and Hands Free Sites?

Yes. One code, both products. SiteGlowUp is the done-for-you website redesign tool (paste a URL, we rebuild the site). Hands Free Sites is the done-for-you builder for businesses without a site yet — we build the whole thing from scratch. Promote whichever fits your audience — or both. The $50 is the same per cleared conversion.

What if a customer uses a different affiliate code at checkout?

Last-touch attribution. Whichever code is on the order at checkout gets the credit. We don’t do multi-touch splits because that’s a recipe for everyone arguing over who really earned it.

Do you provide creative or copy?

We give you a media kit with brand assets and a few pre-written angles. But honestly, your own voice converts better than ours. Talk to your audience the way you always do.

How do I know you’re tracking my conversions?

You’ll see a dashboard with every signup, every cleared conversion, every payout, and every pending payout — refreshed when you load the dashboard. Click totals are on the roadmap. No “trust us”, no monthly statement PDFs. You see what we see.
